Ongoing Events & Services at Most Holy Name
Communion to the Homebound
If you have a family member living in our parish that cannot get out to
mass because of age or illness, please call the rectory to arrange Communion
to the Homebound and we will make arrangements for them to receive the
sacraments. If they are going to a nursing facility or hospital, please
let the rectory know so that the anointing to the sick can be arranged.
Weekly Flower Memorials
Every weekend, you can donate the flowers around the altar in memory of
one of your loved ones or for a special event (marriage anniversary, birthday,
wedding, or death anniversary). These flowers can be set at the altar,
the Tabernacle, or any of the shrine areas around the church. They are
$14 each and can be ordered by calling Wilma Jaksic at 412-321-4667.
AA Meetings
Every Saturday an AA meeting is held in our Church Hall from 10:00 to
11:00 a.m., and a Wednesday AA meeting is held from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.
All are welcome!
Chapel Station Book
The St. Anthony Chapel Committee is happy to announce that our Beautiful
Stations of the Cross Book is now in. They are $5.00 plus tax (35 cents).
It would be a great gift to family and friends. Stop by the Chapel Shop
on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, or Sundays from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. to
pick up your copy.
Strip Tickets
We are still selling strip tickets outside of the church each Sunday.
They are $1 each and each gives you 5 chances to win. You must call to
claim your prize of $100. There could be two winners each week. Funds
go to our 135th anniversary campaign.
