CCD News
Please note that CCD classes will begin on Sunday, September 28. Also, our program is in need of teacher assistants. If you think you would like to help, call Steve Swank at 412-231-3002.

All 6-7-8 graders are invited to a Youth Fest Cookout immediately following the 1st CCD Class on Sunday, September 28th.

CCD Basic Certification
All CCD instructors are reminded of the basic certification courses that are required to teach CCD. All teachers should be working towards their certification. There are 4 basic courses that make up the certification: Creed, Sacraments, Morality & Methods: Elementary / Jr. High / Middle School. We are fortunate to be able to offer one of these courses, here at our Parish. Morality: Life in Christ will be held in the school building on one Sunday per month from October—April, from 1:00 to 4:00 pm. Cost is $40 or Free for our catechists. MHN Sunday Bingo
Summer does not deter our Bingo players...Our Jackpot must go! The Jackpot is based on attendance, and ranges from $750 to $1250 each week. Our Bingo runs every Sunday in our School Hall. Early birds start at 6:30 pm; regular Bingo follows. Our Bingo has a smoking and a nonsmoking section.

Atlantic City Trip
Our next Atlantic City Trip is planned for Saturday, October 4th. Cost is $70 and includes 35 bonus coin plus free buffet at the Taj Mahal. All money is due by September 1st. If anyone needs a ride to church the day of departure, please let us know when you call the rectory for your reservation.

MHN Catholic Men’s Fellowship
Our Parish Men’s Fellowship Group has an open invitation to any of their meetings to any male who wishes to attend. For more information, please call Jim Eberz at 412-434-4017 (Day) or 412-321-4145 (Evening).

Entertainment Books
Entertainment Books for 2009 are in! You can pick up your copy in the rectory for $20.

Most Holy Name Cemetery
We now have available graves for sale in our parish cemetery. Please call the rectory for more information.
